Today the snowboard community lost a great person and friend. I've known few people that were as selfless as Scott. At a time when people didn't see what was possible for me to do he believed in me and saw the vision. After talking it turned out that we grew up 90 miles apart in Wisconsin. Us Wisconsinites tend to take care of each other. He took me under his wing with Hive. 2007 was going to be my year. Unfortunately I injured my other knee and was looking a second surgery. While most people including sponsors wrote me off, Scott called me with words of encouragement. How it could make me stronger, and how I could still make, live and chase the dream. To look at it as opportunity to grow. Though today he is gone, he is with all of us that he touched in spirit. To quote Ted Kennedy ''the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die.'' Rest in peace Scott.
